Al Kamal, MBA, founded Arza Employment Services Ltd. in 1999, bringing more than 25 years of experience in executive recruitment and consulting to the company.

 

Throughout his career, Al built his reputation around relationships, trust, and understanding the people behind an organization. His experience included executive recruitment as well as work across supply chain, freight forwarding, logistics, operations, and other areas of business.

 

At Arza, he believed in building long-term relationships and becoming a trusted advisor and partner of choice for the organizations he worked with. He took the time to understand each client’s needs and challenges and focused on finding the right people and practical solutions.

 

Outside of his professional career, Al was deeply involved in soccer. He was a player, coach, administrator, volunteer, and mentor, coaching for more than 20 years and continuing to play Masters soccer. From 2006 to 2020, he served as Executive Director and Club Equipment Manager of Guildford Athletic Club and Central City Breakers and later served on the BC Soccer Judicial and Appeals Board.

 

Al also dedicated significant time to community initiatives, including Football for Fiji Islands, helping provide soccer equipment to children in underserved communities in Fiji, West Africa, Mexico, and elsewhere.

 

Al passed away in May 2021, but the values he brought to his work and community continue to be part of Arza today — integrity, relationships, commitment, opportunity, and helping others.
